Message from the Principal
Hello!
My name is Luis Garcia, and I am humbled and honored to be your child’s Principal. I come to you as a former student here at McClure. I grew up in this neighborhood and attended all schools nearby. The passion and energy for ensuring our children’s success today is still as strong as the Hunting Park days of my youth. My promise to you all is that I will continue to ensure that our vision remains intact and is stronger than ever.
Our overall goal is to instill in our children a lifelong love of learning so that they will become contributing and competitive members of our global society. We will work together to ensure that we close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college and career readiness and to perform at the proficient and advanced level of work. We will continue to provide consistent high quality academic instruction, in a safe environment that is conducive to learning.
In the meantime, I am looking forward to collaborating with you all with the ultimate goal of leading our students towards the road to success.
In service,
Mr. Luis Garcia (A. K. McClure School Class of 1982)
